easter cont..

is easter about eggs, bunnies & baskets full of candy? no.

but, is it pretty awesome to wake up to eggs, bunnies & a basket full of candy? yes!

toss in a Yo Gabba Gabba blanket & some shoes & you've got yourself one happy toddler:

the holy grail. (yes, those are ginger ale cans holding up her blanket. don't judge me.)

elation over the prospect of a pure sugar coma.

brynn only gets excited over milk- not easter baskets.

after ingesting a plastic egg full of jelly beans- we headed outside (as though the fresh air would some how make up for the fact that we allowed our child to eat candy for breakfast)

the husband, alex & the chickens went scratching around & discovered some new spring insects:

mmm- creepy crawlers.

and you've already seen the rest of our day.

but what you haven't seen is me taking pictures of my outfit in the work elevator.

i've been trying to actually put on decent clothes in the mornings- and i feel like my efforts should be documented (for when i revert back to my schlepping ways & need reminding of what i once accomplished)

but i'll save those for tomorrow.

You Easter pictures are SO adorable. I found your blog a couple weeks ago and I just need to tell you that from the few pictures that I have seen, I LOVE your log home. They give me the best feeling. We came so close to purchasing one, but it had a few too many issues for us. Hopefully someday! :-)

I love that you used a bucket instead of a basket. What a great idea!

I'm loving Alex's pigtails!! And the girls looked so cute in their Easter outfits :) hope you had a good day and Alex didn't go nuts on the sugar and candy, lol.

Aww! Your girls are so cute!

My little guy ADORES Yo Gabba Gabba, too. When he wants to watch it, he points to the TV and "raises the roof."

I guess that's the universal sign for YGG ;)

Totally creeped out by the centipede. But - the Easter basket extravaganza was awesome.

Love the new blog look!
