30 weeks 1 day- wow.

i can't help but laugh at how off center my linea nigra is- goodness!

i had an appt on Tues and i only put on another few pounds so i think i'm up to 15lbs in all. whew- let's see how much more i can pack on i the next 10 weeks...

alex kicks & punches aaall the time & i LOVE IT! i never tire of watching my belly move & feeling her kick- i'm def going to miss that when this pregnancy is over. the husband finally saw her kick the other night- his words "whoa- that's weird"

next step: take the GD test somewhere between 06/10 - 06/18. oy!

23 weeks.....and closing day!

well today = 23 weeks & closing day on our new house! ::squee::

23 weeks- wow! that seems so far- but i still have about 20 weeks to go!

ok- you'll have to excuse all the boxes because we're MOVING! finally!

bare belly always = looks more pregnant in my book.

and here are the somewhat odd looking frontal shots. you can clearly see my rather crooked LN....the husband never fails to point it out- "that weird line" he likes to call it. lovely.

anyway- so yes. we close this morning at 9:30 and then it's off to clean, clean, CLEAN! these people were smokers so i'm going to be doing a lot of airing out & cleaning with vinegar- yum. i'm usually not all gung-ho on cleaning but i'm pretty excited. i mean, i'd be more excited if someone wanted to do it all for me, but still. yeah.

ok- i need to go "do" things i suppose- yay!

18 weeks

so as you can see my shirts/sweaters are getting a little short- i'm still wearing them because i refuse to buy new ones yet- but we'll see how long it lasts.


i obviously look way more ku with the bare belly- but you can tell either way (if i take my coat off) - however i've still managed to keep it a secret at work (for the most part)- nuts.

i'm going to "announce" after my big u/s next week- it's on a Thursday so i'll bake something & bring it in on Monday. woot.

and there you go! it's amazing how much bigger i am than just 3 weeks ago. i'm also in love with my doppler- i love how much higher i have to probe in order to find the heartbeat- i'm right at the belly button line now (which is starting to flatten out- it's so weird)

in other news- we're househunting. we found one that we really liked but they neglected to let us know that they were waiting on an offer to go through already- so when we put in ours they hemmed & hawed & finally told us. losers. so it's back to the search! we need to find something within the next 2-3 months so that we can be in by August at the latest. hopefully we'll be in before then because i have grand nursey plans that need to be started. there are tons of houses- we just need to agree on one. meh!

ok- i need to go watch The Hills now (yes- need)

ok! so today was full of good news! we have 1 aaawesome heartbeat! it was so neat to see it flickering away! the baby measured at exactely 7weeks 0days which is great! the gestational sac was at 6weeks 2days which is also great- lastly the yolk sac measured at 2.3 which is good. they like to see it between 2.5 & 5.5 but she said 2.3 is very close. i have a f/u u/s with my OB in 2 weeks to make sure everything is still growing!

and here is the heartbeat (wave lengths)! it was beating at a health 142 bpm!! woot!

and here is my first "belly" pic @ 7weeks. i think my bloat has gone down some...

i was looking a little "plumper" last week but things have settled. i can still button my pants & such, but i did purchase a Bella Band today & when i tried it on it was super!!! i got it in white- i'll have to get one in black too...hmmm.
(please excuse me looking like crap & the messy floor- i'm beyond tired & cessna had a field day ripping things up- argh)

ok- that's it! i am so overjoyed & thankful for this precious gift. it's a little surreal & it doesn't totally feel real yet- but i'm sooo happy! so is the husband! but he's a little pissy because i can talk about this to my lovely internet girls & he can't tell anyone. but we agreed on this so poo to him!
